OCIA:  Order of Christian Initiation for Adults

Our OCIA Program and Adult Confirmation Preparation Program is for those individuals age 18 Years and older who have not been baptized in any faith denomination, those baptized in another Christian faith, or been baptized but have not received their First Communion or Confirmation and now desire to become a full member of the Catholic Faith.

 

OCIA for Children

Our program is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 18 years old who are:

1.     Unbaptized, or

2.     Baptized in another Christian tradition and now desire (or parents/guardians desire) that the child becomes Catholic, or

3.     Baptized in the Catholic Church, but has had little or no Religious Education or training and desire to receive First Holy Communion.

Children and youth in our OCIA Program will be prepared to receive their needed sacraments by attending classes designed just for them.

 

Registration will be held on Sunday, July 27th and Sunday, August 3rd after the 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Classes will begin on Sunday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m.  For more information or if you have any questions about either program, please see Shirley Zuni after the 10:00 a.m. Mass.
